Registered cattle have the farm name listed with the animal name (”BLF Thorndale”). Unregistered cattle do not have the farm name (”Uptown”). Note: All my pictures are out of date. I’ll make sure to post some new ones for Thorndale and Van Buren soon.
BLF Thorndale
Thorndale is a show favorite. Kids love to pet him and judges love his lines. We love his placid temperament, too. He is halter trained. We’d keep him for ourselves, but small herd genetics and economics dictate otherwise. Descended from the last Highlands brought into the US before the herd was closed, Thorndale is an excellent addition to (or starting point for) your herd.

BLF Van Buren
Our newest addition and another bull from Blossom, Van Buren has his mothers’ brilliant red coat. A leggy calf, VB already shows signs of being an outstanding bull. He is available for sale in August, after weaning.

Transport
We are happy to transport your animal free of charge within 50 miles of the farm and for $ .50/mile up to 250 miles.
